I’ve been heads-down building with AI since December. Intently building every day — almost obsessively — and sometimes embarrassingly late into the night.

Most of the conversation online is noise. I’ve seen what’s actually possible firsthand, and I want to cut through it — by documenting my builds and taking an honest look at where the gaps still lie.

The format

For the next two months, I’m sharing everything I build — one or more things per week — and breaking down:

⏱️ The Clock — Exactly how long it took.

⚖️ The Reality — How close it actually is to production. No fluff. There’s a real difference between “it works” and “it’s ready,” and most people aren’t talking about that gap.

🧠 The Lessons — What I learned so you don’t have to.

🛠️ The Stack — The tricks and tools behind my process.

Why bother

The hype cycle around AI development is doing something strange: the optimists overclaim what’s possible and the skeptics dismiss things that are genuinely working. Neither camp is being precise.

I’m not trying to convince anyone of anything. I’m just going to show the work — what shipped, what it took, what’s actually production-ready, and what still has meaningful gaps. You can draw your own conclusions.

What’s coming

The first build is already live. Resume Forge — an AI-assisted career tool built around a structured process, not a single-shot resume generator. Full breakdown coming tomorrow.

After that: a CRM build, GrowEngine v2, two published AI skills, and a few things I haven’t announced yet.
