Bridge7 Oncology
2017–2020Co-Founder & CEO
A bet on treatment planning AI in the early days of AI (CNN, RL, RNN). Bridge7 was an AI-powered radiotherapy treatment planning platform, trained on thousands of high quality radiation plans from a world leading cancer center. Scaling clinical excellence to people who needed it most.
Outcome: Raised $3M+. Deployed to 12 clinical sites. Won FACIT's Falcons' Fortunes on World Cancer Day 2020.
Westinghouse HQ Restoration
2017–2021Founder & General Partner
Reviving a Hamilton powerhouse. This iconic 7-story heritage building — originally designed by Prack & Perrine, designated heritage status in 1988 — sat neglected while everyone said Hamilton was dead. I saw something different: a testament to industrial excellence waiting for a new vision. Today it's been transformed into 70,000 sq ft of Class A office space with soaring 11'-20' ceilings, including a 10,000 sq ft event venue — modern systems and finishes while staying true to the building's distinctive feel and original accents.
Outcome: Building acquired for $2.6M. Led $15M+ restoration. Won National Trust for Canada award. Now a cornerstone of Hamilton's East End revival.

Built the AI platform that mapped 67M+ biomedical research interests — connecting scientists with undiscovered collaborators, surfacing hidden relationships across literature, and accelerating the path from research to breakthrough. We were building knowledge graphs before anyone called them that. CZI made us their first-ever acquisition.
Initial team. Built the team from zero to 20+. Managed $1M–$5M P&L. Helped close $6M Series A.

Pioneered AI/ML models that detect emotional distress and stress indicators in digital content to protect children online. More than content moderation — actually understanding the emotional context behind what kids are exposed to. Hard problem, important mission.
Instrumental in closing Horizon Ventures seed financing. Led product and operations through to acquisition by SafeToNet.

Payquad Solutions
Head of Product and Growth. Led the evolution to MYPORTAL 2.0 — a next-generation tenant experience platform redesign. Drove 25% ARR growth, reduced churn 15%, lifted conversion 50%.
AI Builder Projects
Since December 2025, I've been deep in the code. Not just advising on AI anymore — actually building with it. 8 apps shipped for clients and friends using Claude, Cursor, and Clawdbot.
The bottleneck has shifted. It's not 'can you code?' anymore. It's 'can you think clearly about what to build?'

I'm drawn to problems where I can see something others don't. Sometimes that's a technology bet. Sometimes it's a market bet. Sometimes it's a product bet (the dashboard as the product, not just a wrapper).
The common thread: contrarian conviction. Not being different for its own sake, but having a thesis about the future that most people don't share — and being willing to bet on it.
